Jane Cizik Garden Place, located in Spring Branch, is a sober apartment community serving women (over 18 years old) who live alone on a modest income. It is conveniently located close to public transportation, shopping and medical/social services. The rent is from $525 to $575 per month for an unfurnished one-bedroom apartment. Rent includes utilities (not phone), cable and internet. This is a newly constructed LEED certified (Leadership in Energy and Environment Design) complex consisting of 87 units.
The units, designed for single occupancy, range from 550 to 650 square feet. They include major appliances, mini-blinds, large walk-in closet and hardwood-like flooring. There is a laundry center on each floor.
Jane Cizik Garden Place is a gated community built around a large courtyard garden. The common building has a large community room and exercise room that look out into the garden and patio. There is also a computer lab and meditation room. In additional to the amenities, a full time case manager will be on-site and other services and enrichment programming will be available.
Jane Cizik Garden Place is owned and operated by The Women’s Home, a non-profit United Way Agency.
