The Women’s Home (TWH) is pleased to provide information to all of its donors about its donor information collection practices. Rest assured that we will not, under any circumstances, sell or trade a donor’s personal information to any other entity either online or offline. The Way We Collect and Use Information
The Women’s Home gathers personal information, such as first and last names, home addresses, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, and credit card numbers, only when voluntarily submitted by you. We will never trade, share or sell a donor’s personal information with anyone else. We also will not send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations without your express permission to do so. All online donations are processed securely using a third party payment processor and all online donations made are subject to PayPal.
We use the information you provide about yourself when making donations, only to complete that transaction. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete the payment. When you submit a donation to us, you may receive relevant mailings with updates about The Women’s Home programs or upcoming events. If you no longer wish to receive these materials, you may opt-out by contacting our Database Coordinator at eclark@thewomenshome.org.
Companies may be engaged by The Women’s Home to perform a variety of functions, such as assisting with donation collection, providing technical services for our Internet sites, etc. Such companies may have access to personal information if needed to perform certain functions. However, these companies may use such personal information only for the purpose of performing that function and may not use it for any other purpose. Other than as provided in this privacy policy, we will never sell, transfer or disclose personal information to third parties.
The Women’s Home reserves the right to use or disclose any information as needed to satisfy any law, regulation or legal request, to protect the integrity of the site, to fulfill your requests, or to cooperate in any law enforcement investigation or an investigation on a public safety matter.
Data Security
Donor information is stored within a donor management database within The Women’s Home. Access to the database is restricted to personal with legitimate business need to access or modify the information contained therein. To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure payment and donor personal information. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software currently available for secure e-commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.
Our Commitment To Children’s Privacy:
Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information on our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.

If you would like to unsubscribe from our email list, please use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our newsletter emails or contact us through the Postal Service address listed below. It may take up to two weeks to remove you from all of our email lists if we have one in production when you request to be removed.
